Case No 2991/2009 The PIO is directed to trace out the records which is permanent in nature
1) The Public Information Officer is directed to trace out the records which is permanent in nature and provide the information sought by the petitioner within 15 days from the receipt of this order and send a compliance report to this Commission immediately.
2) The Public Information Officer is also directed to give the copies of the documents regarding the payment of the bi-monthly charges made by the present owner in the office, at free of cost to the petitioner within 15 days from the date of receipt of this order.
3) The Chairman, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Chennai-2 is directed to call for the explanation from the Public Information Officer to show cause as to why the penal provision should not be invoked under section 20(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 for not furnishing the information to the petitioner for the last 28 months and send it to this Commission within a month from the date of receipt of this order.
