Case No 33795/2007 Order regarding Land Records

The information asked for by the petitioner has been already supplied from the available records in the Collectorate. But the petitioner is not satisfied with the information as the exact details he has asked for have not been furnished. The public authority explained that he had to search the records in the office of the Corporation Commissioner, Tiruchirapalli, and at last has been able to get hold of the records. The public authority has promised to take relevant extract from the register and supply the same to the petitioner. No cost should be collected from the petitioner as the time-limit prescribed by the Act has already been breached.
